How Embroidery Design Club Works
Welcome to Embroidery Design Club — part of the TEX INC. family, digitizing for the embroidery industry for over 30 years. Thousands of stitch-ready machine embroidery designs, in every standard format, all included with your membership. Here’s everything you need to get started.
1. Create Your Account — No Password Needed
Signing in is quick and passwordless — there’s nothing to memorize:
- Click Sign In and enter your email — or choose Continue with Google or Shop.
- If you used your email, we send you a 6-digit code.
- Enter the code and you’re in — that’s it. No password to create, forget, or reset.
Your membership is tied to your account and is for your use only. Your current tier and your monthly design count are always shown at the top of the site (for example, Stitch Master 26/65 · Free 11/15).
2. Choose Your Membership
Every plan includes all standard file formats. Designs are included with your membership — no per-design price.

3. Find & Download Your Designs
- Browse the Stitch Vault. Look around freely — no account needed to search and explore designs.
- Sign in. To add a design to your cart, you’ll need to be signed in (passwordless — email + 6-digit code, or Continue with Google or Shop).
- Add to Cart & check out. There’s no charge — designs are included with your membership. Complete the free ($0) checkout; the design counts toward your monthly member or freebie allowance.
- Get your files. Open My Downloads or your Orders page in your account — searchable by design name or order number.
- Download anytime. Click ↓ Download next to any design. Your files never expire — re-download them whenever you need, as many times as you like.
Each item in My Downloads is labeled FREE (a freebie) or MEMBER (one of your monthly member designs), so you always know what counted against your allowance.
4. File Formats — Works With Your Machine
Every design comes in all standard machine embroidery formats, so it’s ready for your machine right out of the box:
Compatible with Brother, Baby Lock, Janome, Bernina, Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, Singer, Melco, Tajima and other standard embroidery machines. Download, copy to a USB drive or send to your machine, and stitch.
5. Your License — Make It and Sell It
Designs remain the intellectual property of TEX INC. Your membership gives you a non-exclusive license to use them — including for your own business.

- Use designs for commercial embroidery production
- Resize and edit designs for embroidery

- Resell or share the digital design files
- Give away files or upload them to file-sharing sites
- Distribute designs as your own or create competing collections
- Share your login — membership is for the account holder only

6. Bonus Tools (Crafter and up)
Paid memberships also unlock tools to help you create and plan:
- Fonts Library — stitch-ready embroidery fonts and alphabets.
- Mockup Studio & Fonts — preview lettering and designs before you stitch.
- Stitch Estimator Pro App — estimate stitch counts, size and production time for quoting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a password?
No. Sign in with your email and a one-time 6-digit code, or use Continue with Google or Shop. There’s no password to create or remember.
How many designs can I download each month?
It depends on your plan — from 3 free designs a month on Freebie up to 65 member designs plus 15 bonus freebies on Stitch Master. Your remaining count is always shown at the top of the site.
What file formats do I get?
All standard formats — PES, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, VP3, XXX, SEW, EMB and more — included with every design.
Can I sell what I make with the designs?
Yes. You can stitch designs onto products you sell and use them for commercial embroidery production. You just can’t resell or share the digital files themselves.
Do my downloads expire?
No. Everything you’ve added stays in My Downloads and can be re-downloaded anytime, as many times as you need.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel whenever you like — see our Membership Cancellation Policy for details.
